Frazetta In The Flesh!
Here's a really sumptuous Frazetta image of Tarzan leaping through the jungle, with his lovely burden tucked in his mighty-thewed arm. It's a lush and enticing Tarzan illustration by the man who in many ways redefined the Ape Man for the modern audience.
Here's a very simliar pose by French Tarzan wannabe "Karzan". The Frazetta influence is indisputable, though it might not be the first thing you take note of on this overly excited cover. The blonde lady seems to have a profound interest in that banana, and I don't have anything to say about the grinning ape.
If perchance you're interested in seeing what a Karzan story looks like check this out.

hey Rip, just FYI, i'm pretty sure Karzan was an Italian fumetti (translated into french). Like many fumetti it was based on a film character.
