Though a creature of myth, the Cyclops from Tales of Suspense #10 is one of Kirby's most impressive creations. The one-eyed monster from the depths of the Odyssey by Homer is discovered frozen. Our thoughtless and careless hero chips him out of the ice and lo and behold has a problem on his hands. Thanks goodness the Cyclops was pretty stupid.
It's a great cover by Jack "King" Kirby and a lot of "Sturdy" Steve Ditko, one of their best as a duo. The way the monster bursts out of the ice is great even if our dopey hero cannot be bothered to hear it.
