Francesco Francavilla is an artist I've adored since I first chanced upon his work on the independent comic The Black Coat. He's gone on to do all sorts of memorable work, generally in the pulp horror vein for DC, Marvel, Archie and others. His original hero Black Beetle is a gem too. Here are five alternate covers he did for Marvel's limited series Monsters Unleashed. Britt Reid mentioned these covers a few days ago and I thought it a nifty idea to feature them here during a month dedicated to delicious monsters.
