Today, The Rocketeer debuts again. First there is this exceedingly well-priced $1 reprint of some early Rocketeer action.
And then there is the first installment of four featuring new artists and new stories about the Dave Stevens creation.
It speaks to the immense charm of the work of Stevens that his material is so much beloved after so many decades being there is so very little of it. Perhaps that scarcity makes fans yearn for each scrap.
I'm very eager to see these two new publications. It's the perfect excuse to read the original adventures yet one more time.
