I read the sad news this morning that Jim Kelly has passed away. I'm not an aficionado particularly of Kung-Fu movies, but like most every other American male my age, I've seen Enter the Dragon a few times. Jim Kelly as the sleek black Afro-adorned warrior in that movie comes close to stealing the thing from the ever awesome Bruce Lee. And you know Kelly had a special charisma, because when he is killed off in the movie, you immediately wanted to see more of this memorable martial arts hero.
