E-Man by Nick Cuti and Joe Staton is my favorite superhero. I was looking for something fresh in 1975 when I chanced across an issue of E-Man, not issue #1 above, but a later issue. I had a few comics from Charlton's old Action Hero line and liked them quite a bit. I took a tumble and fell in love with the peculiar world of E-Man filled with enchanting characters and delightful concepts. The series ended all too swiftly, but I've gathered up every revival since, eager for another dose of this beautifully conceived and expertly rendered little universe. E-Man is a gem.
