Just wanted to give a shout out to a favorite movie The Valley of Gwangi. I found the luscious double-page spread from an issue of Monster Times. There's also an article about this Ray Harryhausen dinosaur feature.

The poster above seems to be an adapted version of this full-page spread from the comic book, though clearly several elements have been altered or added. The more I look at it though, the more it seems a complete redo.

ReplyDeleteI loves me some Gwangi. And i just rediscovered The Monster Times in the last week or two - as we'll see in about 3 1/2 hours. Here i didn't think anyone would be recognizing those old posters and i stumble across one of them linked at the bottom of your recent Lone Ranger post.
