In Invisible People, Will Eisner once again attempts to showcase the lives of folks who might not catch the limelight, but who like all of us struggle through lives filled with hardship, happiness and tragedy.
In the installment titled Sanctum we meet Pincus Pleatnik, a man who craved anonymity and seclusion. But his life goes off the rails entirely when he'd declared dead in the local newspaper and he cannot convince folks that it's a mistake.
In The Power we encounter a man named Morris who can perform actual miracles. His ambitions though are small and he's content to hide behind the illusion of hucksterism. His attempts to use his gift to heal are frustrated by his own misguided efforts and the disbelief of others.
