
One comic book cover trope that really impresses me is the use of some reflective object to add mystery, depth, or complexity to an image. It's used in quite a few intriguing ways. One of the most common is to have a character wear sunglasses. Here is a gallery of covers that use this gimmick, some to wonderful effect.
