Reptisaurus #3 was published in 1962. It is a continuation of the Reptilicus series with modifications to the creature's color and name. You can read the issue at this link. The cover art is by Sal Gentile and Nick Alascia.
I've never heard of this monster or comic before. Its good to see that Charlton were delving into comic book adaptions of movies etc back then. they seem to have been ahead of the curve in many ways.

DeleteI kinda like the Reptisaurus name better. Too bad it didn't help the actual comic, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to "Reptilicus" myself, but "Reptisaurus" is not a bad compromise. I just wish it were a better comic.
