One thing about pre-ordering stuff from Amazon I've discovered is that you often forget about the book. Then suddenly out of blue a wonderful package arrives and you find a present inside.
That happened to me yesterday when the second volume of Fantagraphics reprint of Hal Foster's Prince Valiant landed on my doorstep. These are simply outstanding, and I did a review of the first volume here.
All else must give way as I plumb the depths of the next year of classic adventures.
