This exquisite cover by Pete Morisi is an excellent example of his work. The elegance and balance of the figures, the sure positioning of the layout, and the keen sense of movement is all expertly communicated. Morisi's work is like finding snapshots of an action movie, but only those essential to tell the story. Morisi was better known by the mysterious name of "PAM", a dodge he developed so that his moonlighting as an artist on top of his main career as a cop wouldn't get him into trouble.
PAM was one of the best.
