Truly epic storytelling.
The absolute peak of Steve Ditko's run. I can't remember how many times I reread this story arc. I always thought that this was the real climax of the Ditko era, as the last couple of issues were a little light.
I'd have to agree. The follow-ups lacked the punch of this one which had been developed over more than a few months.
