I just finished watching all the episodes of the 1960's Spider-Man cartoon. A few of these I fondly remember, but most I either have long forgotten or never saw. The series is very uneven with an okay first season, a better second season directed by Ralph Bakshi, and a much weaker and shorter third season under Bakshi that blends the first two in oddball ways.
One weird affectation of the series was the affinity for green villains. Aside from classic Spidey villains like Vulture, Mysterio, Elektro, and of course the Green Goblin who are already green, for some reason nearly all the baddies in this cartoon series have green skin. Green therefore becomes defacto the color of evil in this cartoon.
Also someone really liked the classic Frankenstein movies as they are referenced at least twice with a set of baddies called "Colin" and "Clive" and another named "Dr.Pretorius". The latter even looks like Ernest Thesiger who played the original character in The Bride of Frankenstein.
Here's a rogue's gallery.
