George Tuska RIP
He was the best Iron Man artist ever!
George Tuska had a muscular style that was vividly clear in its storytelling and added punch and power to any script. He was a professional through and through. Never flashy, but always reliable, he was often overlooked in discussions about the best of the Bullpen at Marvel. When I opened up Iron Man #5, my first issue I was blown away by the strength of the pencils and the mellow cool of the Johnny Craig inks.
His career in comics was longer than anyone immediately realizes. I'll never forget reading in Eisner's The Dreamer and running across the character "Gar Tooth" clearly meant to be Tuska, and suddenly realizing just how long this seasoned veteran had been at the game.
Rest easy George.

Oh yes, back in 1968-1969, he was extreamly good, then seemed to get rushed or bored or both with iron man.perhaps he had poor health.Anyway, after iron man 23,at the end of 1969,his work on IM became very sporatic.Sometime after 100,he called it a day on Im.
