Pete's Phantom!

Pete Morisi

Back in the days when Charlton had control of the Phantom license, they were trying to find a way to make Lee Falk happy and make the series successful. This is the period of time when ultimately Don Newton would take control of the series and brand it for all time with his distinctive approach.

Also putting forth an effort to snag the Ghost Who Walks was Pete Morisi, better known by pseudonym "PAM", the part-time artist and full-time policeman who gave us Thunderbolt, Vengeance Squad, and Outlaw Kid.

As can be seen by the sample page above, showcased in Charlton Bullseye #5, Morisi's take on the Phantom would've been awesome.

Rip Off
