It's Free Comic Book Day, and personally I'm only looking for a few items this time, but I'm eager to be surprised. I crave a copy of the Fantagraphics offering of Prince Valiant and I'm looking for Buck Rogers from Hermes Press, but that's about it this year.
Hopefully there's a gem out there I have yet to see. It's going to be a bit hectic this morning, so I'm hoping I can get in to visit the shops. Enjoy your own FCBD.

I got the Prince Valiant one, but they were out of Buck Rogers. Wasn't there also a Flash Gordon one? I thought I saw it online.
ReplyDeleteI also got a Marvel one and it turned out to have an Thanos back-up story "The Final Flower!" which first appeared in Logan's Run 6 (1977). Why the heck a Thanos story was in that comic I'll never know.
I missed the Thanos story. Seems like there's always one I overlook. Sigh.
