A Pair Of Scorpions!
Here is a beautiful bit of original artwork done in the 70's by Howard Chaykin for his short-lived but fondly remembered series for the equally short-lived company Atlas-Seaboard.
It's one of the best of the Atlas-Seaboard covers, and one tapped recently to serve as the cover for a Comic Book Marketplace Free Comic Book Day offering.
But by the second issue of the series Chaykin was already replaced on covers with Ernie Colon submitting the reasonably decent artwork above.
Here is the original cover art Chaykin submitted, but which was rejected for this issue, which as it turned out was Chaykin's final installment on the series which would last only one more issue with a largely new premise and all different talent.
