Captain Marvel was my favorite title for a long time when I was tyke. I was in there for the debut issue and followed Mar-Vell's offbeat quest for justice, self-awareness, and readership for several years. He found the first two for the most part, but never the last one. So Mar-Vell died, and as far as I know is still pretty much dead. But it was cool to find the original artwork for that fantastic Gene Colan cover from so many decades past.
Rip Off
