One of the great unfinished epics in comics was the adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel Dracula by Roy Thomas and Dick Giordano. They adapted the story in the black & white magazine Dracula Lives from Marvel. But alas the magazine ended before the story and it remained an interrupted classic for decades. Then in 2004 ago Roy and Dick got together and finished it up.
Now Giordano's skills had diminished a bit by the time he'd returned to the material and those last chapters lack the crisp snap of classic Giordano artwork that I like so much, but it's nonetheless wonderful to get that story done.
These covers are beauties. I need to find these in in the stacks and give that classic another read -- this very weekend if possible.
Rip Off
