But truth told an average audience wasn't likely going to hold still for too many complexities as a narrative unfolded. It's a run thrill ride as so many modern films are. Apart from some intriguing stories I just thought the concept of banding together these literary characters into a pseudo superhero group of sorts was very clever and fresh.
