They don't really debate the reality of those remarks (private or not doesn't make them less racist) but point to how others overstep. Sure, CNN did seem to love to say "shit hole" a lot, but what's that got to do with the core evidence that Trump is a racist. Whatever you might think about immigration doesn't speak to the dark thoughts the President harbors and gives voice to on a regular basis. Trump is a racist, that's the plain truth and any "reasonable" person fitted with "common sense" can see it. Now dealing with it is another matter entirely.

Rip Off Rip Jaggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09936426877024852134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-33947140992181593572018-01-13T17:17:20.318-05:002018-01-13T17:17:20.318-05:00After eight years of fawning over Obama, the guy w...After eight years of fawning over Obama, the guy who constantly flipped birds while pretending to scratch his chin, the media are suddenly concerned with propriety and etiquette.

Trump may or may not have said "shithole countries." But the "reporters" claiming it are the same people who lapped up the story that he watches videos of gorillas fighting 17 hours a day.

If he said it, it was in a private meeting, where only adults were present. And, "racist" or not, the term is 100% accurate when talking about Haiti, Nigeria, and at least 2/3 of the countries on this planet.

Now we have the spectacle of the media using the word over and over in public broadcasts.

CNN's Chris Cuomo whined that it was "a bad word," and "I don't want my kids to hear it, and I don't want your kids to hear it."

So he repeated it about 5000 times, and brought out a whiteboard and wrote it. On prime time TV, where his kids could see and hear it.

Well, his kids, and the other half dozen people who still watch CNN.

BTW, I looked up "racist" in Webster's, and it does not mean "common sense, reasonable immigration reform." Or "merit-based immigration policy." And it does not mean anyone who disagrees with CNN about anything. As Churchill is quoted to have said, we do the right thing only after every other avenue has been explored.

Rip OffRip Jaggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09936426877024852134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-7060878506988645802018-01-12T09:15:46.497-05:002018-01-12T09:15:46.497-05:00And on this end, he's blaming Obama for his &q...And on this end, he's blaming Obama for his "refusal" to go, saying the former president's decision to move the embassy was foolish. Since it was Bush who actually made that decision for a host of security reasons, it seems that yet again Trump is a know-nothing dolt.

Rip OffRip Jaggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09936426877024852134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-47487612677623767082018-01-12T09:13:50.207-05:002018-01-12T09:13:50.207-05:00A bigot and now once again a lying bigot. He claims he disapproves of the new building but we all know he's terrified of the huge demonstrations he'd face here. Last January Prime-Minister Theresa May invited Trump to Britain for a state-visit with all the pomp and ceremony such a visit entails. But that state-visit has been quietly dropped and now even Trump's low-key visit to open the U.S. embassy has been dropped too. George W. Bush came here on a state-visit despite lots of protests but Trump is far too immature and thin-skinned to do the same.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-45912893562291847752018-01-12T08:28:21.940-05:002018-01-12T08:28:21.940-05:00…and of course - now he’s back-pedaling and never...…and of course - now he’s back-pedaling and never said any of this.
