Space Western Comics #45 was published in 1953. It's the last round-up for Spurs Jackson. The art is by Stan Campbell and at least one story is by Walter Gibson. You can read it at this link.
I decided to binge-read all of these tonight. I'm kind of surprised that the "Hitler in Space" story was sort of underwhelming. I liked some of the more imaginative aliens, all the more impressive because it doesn't look like Gibson wrote much SF in his career. The looniest moment IMO takes place in the first or second issue, where Spurs and Hank get dumped on some alien world and find it inhabited by metallic winged horses. Almost any other Golden Age writer would've had the cowboys bring those cool beasties back to Earth and be riding around on them instead of traveling around in rockets. Definitely one of the weirder "weird westerns" in comics (though not one of the best).
