No annoying popups, no commercials.
The pacing and flow are much better than the edited eps SyFy ran.
And, on Friday, I'm posting the complete 1974 feature film compiled from the tv series if you want a heavy dose of Bruce Lee!Britt Reidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07245579677452948620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-19285879037027997382011-01-11T08:49:30.811-05:002011-01-11T08:49:30.811-05:00Shouldn't that be "Let's roll, DVR!&q...Shouldn't that be "Let's roll, DVR!"???
Unfortunately, SyFy is well-known for (ahem) "editing" older tv shows, especially if they have to fit into a half-hour slot.
(Before the 1980s, shows ran 26 minutes for a half-hour series with 4 minutes of commercials. Now, they're 22-23 minutes per half-hour with 7-8 minutes of commercials, and that's what SyFy edits to fit.)
There have been exceptions, but SyFy expands the timeslot to 40 minutes per episode to keep the same amount of commercials. They're not doing it here. ;-(
For those in the Midwest (Chicago & Milwaukee) Me-TV is also running a marathon on Saturday the 15th. They edit far less (if at all).Britt Reidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07245579677452948620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-65096427464527358642011-01-11T08:14:13.486-05:002011-01-11T08:14:13.486-05:00Hoo-hah!
