I liked it pretty well and ordered up a volume called "Graveyard Rats" with more such stories. It's too bad Ballantine didn't reprint more of these.

I'm a fan of pulp villains too. They are the spice which makes many a hero interesting.

Rip OffRip Jaggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09936426877024852134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220285230636101823.post-19859280470034120242014-09-14T20:11:59.360-04:002014-09-14T20:11:59.360-04:00Kathulos also shows up (kinda) as Erlik Khan in a ...Kathulos also shows up (kinda) as Erlik Khan in a couple of stories that were reprinted in the Berkley edition, and I'm guessing elsewhere. I know this is one of Howard's most derivative, but it's always been a favorite genre of mine. I'm really intrigued by Villain Pulps, of which there are only a few. I especially enjoy the Octopus and the Scorpion, both of whom fought a very strange hero called the Skull Killer. Intense stuff.Russhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04809592629762693427noreply@blogger.com
