National Lampoon Archive!

I was looking for a good enough reason to share this great cover for a compendium of National Lampoon comics. And I found a great one. Right now at the Internet Archive what appears to be the entire run of regular issues of National Lampoon are scanned and available for your reading entertainment. They appear to have been up for a few years, but I just stumbled across them. Check them out at this link. Each issue is full of vintage parody befitting the time and countless home stereo equipment ads. Those seem so quaint nowadays, but the satire sometimes still often rings fresh.

  1. That was a great find, thanks for sharing some great stuff for comic fans including Bode, Jones and Neal Adams' "Son O God" and "Zimmerman" strips - The adverts are pretty amazing fair took me back.

    1. I agree. It's a cache of fine comics works. That stuff screams to be collected.
