The Many Ghosts Of Mike Zeck!

Before he became a mainstay at Mighty Marvel on Master of Kung Fu and The Punisher, like many up and coming artists, Mike Zeck practiced his craft at Charlton Comics. He did some stories for them in the middle 70's, and he did some really memorable and distinctive covers. Here are those covers.

Here's a link to Mike Zeck's official site, to see what he's up to these days. And here's a link to an unpublished Charlton cover. Just click on the last icon in the list.

  1. I miss Zeck quite a bit, but those Charlton covers are helping to ease the pain - at least today!

  2. So much modern comic is so deadly dull and bland, that seeing a real stylist like Zeck with a truly distinctive flair is totally refreshing.

  3. Reprints of all the Charlton Horror Comics would get me back into the comic stores.
