Upon Reflection - Spectacles!

One comic book cover trope that really impresses me is the use of some reflective object to add mystery, depth, or complexity to an image. It's used in quite a few intriguing ways. One of the most common is to have a character wear sunglasses. Here is a gallery of covers that use this gimmick, some to wonderful effect.

Look for more reflective installments soon.

  1. I really liked the Irv Novick Batman cover, all the other ones pale compared to that one.
